It all began with Saab...

We started out in business, January 1, 1973 as an auto body repair shop. We repaired all vehicles and we repaired and restored a high number of muscle cars and classic 1950's and 1960's domestic cars. In the mid 1970's, one of our local customers brought over a Saab 99 for us to check out.Andrews Inc. 1973 He explained all the features, safety items, made us sit in the back seat of the car, etc. Pretty nice. Chuck purchased the first Andrews Saab, a 1972 99LE, for the family car and we were hooked. Three times that particular car was totaled out, twice we drove it home from the accident scene never suffering any injuries at all, and each time we bought it back from the insurance company and fixed it up again. We were amazed at how tough that little car was and how so much of the engineering made sense as we repaired it each time.

By the early 1980's we had started our own parts department and then a service department to meet our own needs and the needs of our customers who had Andrews Inc. 1980purchased Saabs from us and in time that grew into what we are today. Along the way, we got involved in the Saab Clubs of North America and the local MN Chapter. Andrews was a part of the first national Saab Owner's Convention held in Galena, IL in 1982. Chuck has been a contributing editor of the Saab Owner's magazine, NINES, since 1992, writing columns published bi-monthly in the magazine.

Our extended family has driven countless Saab cars over the last 30 years, they have protected us in several more severe accidents, and given us innumerable miles of driving pleasure. Chuck and Don currently own 10 Saabs ranging from the 1960's to current.
