2005 Subaru WRX

Why we added Subaru to the Andrews Inc. family...

Andrews Inc. added Subaru to our list of specialties in 2005 with the launch of the SAAB 9-2X.
The Saab 9-2X is a Subaru WRX in disguise that was sold by SAAB only in North America in the 2005 and 2006 model year. It was built in Japan at Fuji Heavy Industries' Gunma Yajima Plant. At that time, General Motors was a parent to both Saab and Subuaru. The car had a number of suspension and appointment upgrades from the stock Subaru Impreza/WRX. The 9-2X earned the nickname "Saabaru" before it was released. The dissolution of the GM/Subaru/Saab relationship in 2005 caused the end of this model. Production ended with the 2006 model year.

With the potential to service our customer's 9-2X cars, Andrews Inc. saw that sales and service of Subaru cars was something in Saab's future and, in order to properly serve and maintain a 9-2X, we invested in the Subaru diagnostic tools and equipment and added all Subaru vehicles to our specialty list.
